WHY CLEANSE?

Cleansing your skin daily removes unwanted dirt, makeup, excess oil, make up, SPF & debris (you know, like the lunch that you accidentally got on your face that no-one told you about until you saw it in the mirror when you got home to hopefully WASH YOUR FACE).

Removing these things means that any other products you use after like a serum or moisturiser will obviously be better absorbed & more effective.

Can you imagine if you never washed your face?

The layer of grime that would build up?!

Pore size would increase from getting clogged up with oil & more breakouts would occur & oxidative stress from all the pollutants everyday would wreak havoc, destroying our beautiful collagen & elastin cells making us AGE FASTER.

CLEANSING IS A MUST!

FIRST STEP, everyone should start with an oil cleanser, oil attracts oil and removes oil based debris like make up etc without stripping the skin of the lipids & ceramides that create a strong skin barrier. Water based cleansers don’t do this and are the 2nd step in the cleansing routine.

HOW TO USE PRECLEANSE: Apply with dry hands and massage all over, add a small amount of water and massage all over again (it will emulsify which is a fancy way of saying mix together and go milky) then rinse thoroughly.

SECOND STEP is a cleanser based on your SKIN TYPE or SKIN CONCERN.

Skin types are DRY, OILY, NORMAL or COMBINATION & skin concerns are AGEING, ACNE, PIGMENTATION or SENSITIVE.  You can’t change your skin type (it can change on it’s own through puberty or menopause (WOOHOO LADIES, ALWAYS FUN TIMES).
