Tanning Advice for best results!
Wax or shave at least 48 hours prior to treatment. This allows time for the pores to close, otherwise dotting in pores may appear.
Exfoliate and moisturise 24 hours before your tan. Pay attention to elbows, knees, ankles and problem dry areas.
For the entire 24 hours before your tan avoid using bar soaps, high pH shower products, oil based products or in- shower moisturisers. These products may act as a barrier against your skin and can prevent the tanning agents to develop.
On the day of tan application don’t apply moisturiser, perfume, deodorant or makeup. Make sure your skin is clean and dry as too much moisture causes tanning product to slide off the skin.
AFTER THE TAN
Wear loose, dark clothing and loose fitting shoes. Tight clothing, underwear and shoes may cause marks.
You can control the colour of your tan depending on your first rinse.
When to rinse?
If you want your tan:
Light- 1 hour
Medium- 2 hours
Dark- 3 hours
If you leave your tan on longer than this don’t stress.
While your tan is processing stay cool so you don’t sweat, avoid crossing legs when sitting or anything where your leaning on yourself.
You may feel sticky for a couple of hours.
